jonby said: I'd prefer it if they were honest about it - they keep coming up with department names like Tailored & Q but the fact remains, ask for anything outside the normal options and they just suck their teeth, tell you it will be expensive, tell you it probably can't be done and then give you no guidance as to how to get a quote - better if they just stopped publishing this 'we will cater to any request at a price' baloney Graham is having similar trouble specing his Vanquish

I think it an example of cart before the horse. They want people to commit and confirm spec but haven't actually shared what the final spec is - will be interested to see what the grill is on mine because I just went for the standard one - bright grill being an option when I completed my order back on 29/6 - seems it changed later.
Still excited though - and can't wait.

Then I am told it isn't standard but a cost option! At least I was told how much and could make a decision . Seems like you guys are still waiting for prices! The only doubt that I still have is about my seat choice! My wife wants a heated seat so guess that's the decision made! Just received prices for my Q requests today. Must say the pricing is very reasonable.

Must say the pricing is very reasonable. I think there are two levels - one is having things done in a different stitch/leather/etc to the norm but still from available leather options, including embroidery. That's relatively cheap, particularly compared to say coloured callipers which cost the factory nto one penny more but for which they now charge £995 ! however that's not Q - it's done by the existing 'team' But if you want say the yellow door pulls from the Virage show car at Geneva, red Cf, etc, it's a differnet story. I enquired about brake callipers in a colour to order and a gearstick like that from the original Vantage V12 RS concept car and I was almost laughed at ........... I follow Aston on twitter and an hour or so ago they talk about another Q example, this time of a Rapide. The web designers go to town about a Q team of designers. I suspect if you had 100k to throw at a car on personalisation they would sit up and listen but I don't think the middle ground really exists

That's what the dealer has organised for me. Have you had any contrast stitching on the door cards?

Like your idea of V12 on the seats. Have you a price yet and what are you having? AM logo and V12R.

Well i can confirm that the V12V Roadster in the OP's video is the first on my V12VR Register! The vin number is very similar to that of the Coupe but instead of having GS00xxx, the Roadster is GS21xxx. The above car has vin 003 but not sure if it will have the Number Plaque 003. I will await confirmation from you lucky prospective new owners

The One-77 plaque numbers match up exactly to the VINs, as the VIN doesn't have to represent the order in which they are built. As such I'd expect they are going to work in the same system.

I had just assumed that my V12VR would have the same VIN as plaque number - something else I am going to need to check!! Glad I didn't ask for car number 003 - supplied with one careful owner

No. 2 is a PHr, No.4 was free last time I asked, I have No. 5 No. 101 is a UK customer car 007 is gone but I don't know if it's for a customer or the factory

I was told 007 was gong to a shareholder ! Ian Minnards has been driving a V12R over the past year but not sure wht colour it is. That just leaves the Orange car that was in the press release and the Red car that was spotted driving in Europe.
