There's a tidy 02 sport in silver with extended red leather on FB marketplace for £1800 ono if anyone is looking for a 325ti.

Based in Coventry.

I went to look at that tonight... it's far from tidy. Whole right rear quarter is stoved in, every corner is scratched up.

I've never understood people that don't declare stuff like that in their listing. Are they hoping you're just not going to notice? Assume that's also reason for only showing one side of car in pics.

Had a cracking day with my compact at Donnington on Wed, great fun little car

2 hours drive there, bombed it round all day and then drove two hours back, little car didn't miss a beat :-)

Most of the way through converting my 318Ti to a 330Ti. M54B30, ZF 5 speed, 330 brakes front and rear, 330 auto diff/driveshaft/axles etc. It's in and running, just waiting for the last of the parts to show up so I can button everything up and drive it.

Thanks mate, I'll be sure to post them up when it's on back on the road. Motor and gearbox and everything else got a pretty extensive refresh while everything was out, what was meant to be a quick swap for a daily driver crept into 9 months of rebuilding and replacing.

Even fewer white 330Ti's :P Sad really, I think white might be the compacts best colour. When this one came up I bought it within a few hours of being listed, had been thinking about building one of these for years and this was the perfect spec for it.

If BMW had made a 330Ti it would be a cult classic, it's the best non-m BMW never made.
Surprised there aren't more of them given how easy it is to swap from a 325Ti. Little bit more involved starting with a 4 cylinder but unfortunately 325Ti's are few and far between in New Zealand and rarely well specced.

Very nice. Well worth the work you’ve put in. I converted my 325ti to 330ti a good few years ago and it’s performed faultlessly ever since.

You're right, a 330ti would havebeen a cult classic, mind you going by these pages the 325ti is pretty highly regarded too! I loved mine, and still miss it. frown

Does anyone know of the 330ci Clubsport gear knob is different from the stock one in the 325ti? I’ve been looking everywhere but haven’t been able to confirm anything.

I don't know what the Clubsport gear knob looked like, but my 325ti was a Sport and had the weighted ZHP gear knob that I really liked. So much I bought one for my Z4!

It looked like this:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391952759664?chn=ps&amp...

Don't be tempted by cheap ones, while they may look the same they aren't weighted!

Does anyone know the part number of the weighted one? My 325ti is a Sport model and wondering if it already came with the weighted one.

It didn’t. Sorry, can’t remember the part No. Hopefully a quick Google will find it.
