I need to sell my M Coupe so thought I'd post the details in the classified section. If anybody is interested they can check it out there or drop me a line.
Its a fantastic car for the money - near-TVR performance but with BMW reliability.

I love the car. Its actually my 2nd one - I had one when they first came out but after TVR, Porsche etc I couldn't resist another, especially at the price.
I've been going to Eastern BMW for my servicing as I have always used them and heard some bad stories about the other BMW dealer in town.
I'm probably taking a contract in London next, so there's no point in me having the car sitting about doing nothing.
If you nkow of anybody looking for one, there are pics on www.z3mcoupe.com. If you want I can put a pic of your car and email address etc on the site. I've been trying to get a register going but its proving to be very slow work.

Just checked out your site and pics. Your car looks great in Imola red, only ever seen the M5 in that colour. Haven't yet taken pics of mine but will do soon and pass them to you. Were you looking at the black Z3M at Eastern lately? I spoke to Andy and he said that he might have a red Z3M coming in....obviously you decided not to and I had to look down south. Anyway, got shot of the Speed6 cerbera and got a 1999 Z3M instead. Better than the TVR in every aspect apart from speed....
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am sure that you love the look of your plastic wedge albeit many other don't - personal choice at the end of the day 
I am a TVR fan, owned 2 for just under 4 years. Just got sick to death of the constant niggles and rebuilds. The Cerb was in the dealer garage more than mine! Now if TVR could make a car like the M3 then I would have it, shame that they cant in truth otherwise I would still be a customer. I cant deny that I am relieved to get shot of my Cerb, lost a lot of £££ in two years with the Cerb and no longer have the worries of whether TVR themselves can survive! I do miss the straight line speed but the chassis are very badly built. Any i have my choices and you have yours

The smiley says it all...Like you Kris I've owned two TVRs over the last 4 years. Great cars but after a while the problems begin to outweigh the performance. Yeah, I too lost a huge amount in depreciation on the Speed6 and eventually had to trade it as no one was interested in buying it. Never thought I'd hear myself say this about a BeeMem but it's just the little things about it....A/C which is cold, not counting the costs of every new noise after startup, a engine that doesn't de-tune itself afer 2000 miles into a £1k service, taught handling. As for the E46 M3 it looks stunning and really aggressive too. Would be interesting to pitch a new M3 against a TVR Cerbera/Tuscan/Tamora on the track!
Dont forget with the Cerb the 18" wheels that buckle and then cost £1500 to replace, the £2K service charges whilst under warranty, the lack of radio reception, the rattly exhaust which only stops rattling for 500 miles before needing adjusting (again), the interior falling off, and although straight line speeds are quick, the handling is so bad round bends that you could corner quicker in a punto.
Anyway, nuff said, I love TVR's but have just had enough for now and I love my M3 and cant wait to get behind the wheel again!

Yep, I have dealt with Andy at Eastern and I was considering the newer M Coupe but I don't see the point at 32K as you know it will drop to about 25 in another year or so.
I'd be interested in your pics for the site. I need to get a better one of the car as Imola Red seems to photograph like a bright red when the sun is out. It is much darker than that in the flesh.
I have done the TVR thing at the same time as a mate of mine and we have both been put off them. Great idea but poorly executed. And as for the customer service, very poor. It really annoys me that we are expected to put up with the service and the por build quality just because its a TVR. I'm afraid I'll be sticking with BMW and Porsche for sports cars from now on.

I take it to the track from time to time. After a few mods (suspension,trackers,dome strut airfilter, racing breaks & Engine Software)it now is very fast on the track despite its 1450 Kgs.
I always wanted a 4,5 Cerbera, but can't cope with the unreliability. Pitty, as back in the bimmer after the testride in the Cerb my car felt rather slow : (

Yeah,
I had a Porsche before the M Coupe, loved it to bits
but I bought with little knowledge.
So Iam glad its gone and I love the M Coupe. ( I love BMW warranty)
I used to detest BMW's for no real reason, but this car has changed my view.
What Chip and brakes and induction kit have you got, really interested in these mods

You have to get the dome-strut.
After mounting I went for a spin, and Huuuuuuhh!
I thought im sittin' in a totaly new car!
The strut eliminates the tortion movments comming from the long bonnet, the car feels mor compact especially in the bends it really is a different story now!
The brakes (pagid upgrade) I'd recommend for track use only, as the squealing drives you crazy after a while.
The chip & aspiration are not road legal and was a privat job ... not very effective.
My oppinion, the car can do with some suspension & stabi upgrade (brakes for track) but hands off the engine, The M guys have done their homework

I drove VeeJay Angelos' Z3M Coupe race car at Snett last month to help with the set-up for the Bathurst 24hr that he has entered,what a great car. The engine has different cams,a super chip, different exhaust and intake and shocks/springs/bars and big fat slicks. Straight out the box it was doing 1.15s which was 2 seconds faster than a very well sorted M3 group N + car, and the car is still 150Kgs to heavy!. Keep an eye out for it at Bathurst as the thing will fly.
ps without the wing it did 176mph at Bruntingthorp and 165 with it.

As you have the Roadster I don't think the Strut brace would have nearly the same effect on the MCoupe as the body is so much more rigid.
Any body tried it ?
Anybody got any experience of lowering springs and would you recommend this without doing the full suspensiion swap ?

Luckily I've got one of each and couldn't possibly choose between them. They are very much chalk and cheese it depends what sort of driving you are going to be doing. You have to concentrate much more in the TVR to go fast but ultimately the Cerbie is much more rewarding (FUN!) to drive. You also tend to get more respect on the road and glances down the high street. But the BM is just so easy to drive and does everything so well it’s a dream to drive. And in anything other than perfect conditions it’s probably quicker than the TVR A to B. Don’t get me wrong the Cerbie would muller it down the strip but on everyday roads the BM would probably get there first, maybe.
When I have to be somewhere I take the Bimmer when I’m out for kicks I take the Cerbie.
