Had smoke coming off the arse of his leathers and horrified expression on his face from memory - v.good. Stills photographers seem to gather at the mountain for some reason (spot the annoyance from someone that can't wheelie!). I was only captured on the video. I've got it on VHS video tape and found someone to transfer it to disc errr 18 months ago. Fantastic and all that, downloaded it onto my computer and apparently I need something that will run a BUP file?? I've yet to be bothered to work out how to do this. If you can help I'll stick it up on da YouTube for you to laugh at - bike gets proper shagged, they slo mo it and everything. Quite funny when showed at the NEC bike show on a 30 foot wide screen. I was there. Also on one of the frenzys a mate of mine crashed his 400 at the Gooseneck with a rubber chicken riding pillion.

In the middle of Norwich there's railings in all four directions at a really busy crossroads with traffic lights. Both of them were waiting at the front of traffic when we were walking along the pavement. As the lights went amber, FZR bloke reached across, switched the keys on the GSXR off, pulled the keys out then lobbed them over the railing, before fecking off with lots of revs. GSXR boy was a bit of a tit, he shouted at us to chuck his keys back. We did the decent thing and booted them round the corner then ran off. He was a fat lad too, so the memory of watching him paddle his GSXR round the corner with cars hooting will always raise a smile

RE that PB video, does anyone remember that tool coming down the Gooseneck with his hands off the handlebars weaving from side too side.

Me crashing NC30 at Gooseneck at 42mins. Sidestand bracket dug in if you're interested. Bought from BAT motorcyles at £1900, sold to Bernies the breakers at £1200, cheap crash! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z54SV5vyVHw1991 PB Nurburgring Frenzy. Also found this looking for it. Mind blowingly boring vid. Me screeching past (edit at 2m58s - you don't need to sit through all that rubbish!) with a locked back wheel on my bought from new CBR600FM. H801 JWL where are you now?

y2blade said: "s t just got real" 1995 maybe? I went 1994 on my way to Manx GP when they were using the club circuit - don't remeber a T shirt. 1996 was a 2 day job when I wrecked the NC30 and that had a black T shirt. Might have said "Probably The Finest trackdays" or something from memory. 1997 they went to Donington and it was a red shirt with 48 on it. As in 48 hour frenzy. I never went to it and apparently it was a bit rubbish, Donington bit too big for atmosphere unless you're Guns & Roses.

My mate "The Biker" ( hence Bikers nemesis) was at the Nurburgring frenzy. I couldn't go due to my son just being born. The Biker was on a tech 21 FZR 1000 exup. The same bike I bought a year later in V&H colours. the bike I've just posted a picture of me doing a stoppie in the picture a day thread. Small world eh?

Small world eh? can you remember the reg on the Tech 21 bike? My old man had an FZR 1000 in Tech 21 colours in 1990, sold it around a year later i think. I always did wonder what happened to that bike, it looked lovely for it's day.

Same year - 1996. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWtXeYUuSK0 Video shows start of it at 45 mins. We were staying at local B&B and taxi'd back in after cleaning up and paid the bloke to collect us at 1.00am. Place was wrecked and on fire by then and we had to walk past about 30 coppers (whole Leics force) at the gate who were trying to work out what to do with thousands (15,000 some said) of pissed up bikers. Came back in the morning to do next day on track and place was like battlefield with smoking ruins - most funny!

The same bike I bought a year later in V&H colours. the bike I've just posted a picture of me doing a stoppie in the picture a day thread. Small world eh? Small world indeed. Cant remeber a Tech 21 Exup specifically. They split us all into 12 groups of 10 each. Ironically they put all the people who had a two stroke in the same group. At the time I had a KR-1. The magazine with the offer came out in early Novemeber 1990 and it was the only thing I had to read while stuck in the snow drifts that cancelled that year's NEC bike show. After reading it for about 8 hours I thought "I'm bloody going to that!". By the tme the event happened, half including me had bought a CBR600 either new or s/hand. They put us up in the poncy Dorint hotel and put me in with Simon Helby - son of Robin Helby who organised it all on behalf of PB and later formed Nurburging Riders Club. Both father and son were complete and utter nutters. Couple of years later I met Robin the father on an RC45 at the Ring. I'm guessing he'd had a recent off and had to physically place his left hand on the handlebar with his right hand then he could ride off - still putting in good laptimes.

Regarding conversion, if you have Windows 7, download Microsoft Windows Live Movie maker (I don't think it's standard on windows 7 but a free MS download). This should be able to convert .bup to .wmv that's youtube-able (I haven't tested it myself) For playback, I believe vlc media player will play .bup files - it's a superb player that plays just about anything. (free download http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html )

I couldn't see Tony finding it funny either I obviously haven't grown up yet. I found flicking the kill switch was too obvious,so if you pull up reasonably close and a little bit back, you're usually in legs length of just pushing the side stand down. As they release their clutch or clonk it into gear you can leave them stuck at the lights.
