I couldn't see Tony finding it funny either I obviously haven't grown up yet. I found flicking the kill switch was too obvious,so if you pull up reasonably close and a little bit back, you're usually in legs length of just pushing the side stand down. As they release their clutch or clonk it into gear you can leave them stuck at the lights. I bypassed the side stand cut out on my DRZ so that possibly wouldn't have ended well for me!

Panigale Re-Delivered........ Just been out on it...... ALL SORTED. What a difference a little tweak makes on the brakes. It was probably nothing more than just to closely set up on the pads. Not a single bit of Rub on the brakes now. SOOOOOO releived. I did manage to mount a grass verge though, only slightly. Feel much more confident in it now i know its not ALLWAYS braking!!

Thanks guys, I only just clipped the verge......them corners come up pretty damn quick on those country lanes. I suppose now, i just start wondering whether or not to put the Termi's on!! The 1198 has the Arrow's on as you dont need to change the ECU with those, and it sounds amazing, But the Pani' already sounds Brill with the standard Cans on, and i doubt very much the 10HP gain with the termi's is required(for my type of riding style!!). The Demonstrator 1199S had them on and it sounded like it should have been lined up at the MOTO GP this weekend!!....and that was just in the showroom, ticking over!! Not sure what the costs would be yet, and apparently they do Just the Cans or the Cans AND the manifold and connecting pipes(full system). Any ideas what the benefits are of a FULL system as opposed to just the Cans?

Do it The full system or just the cans? depends how much you "want" to spend, The benefits will be apparent once you have them.

Do the full system...
I'd highly reccomend it, my neighbours on the other probably wouldn't.

Can only is a lot cheaper, but just buys you lots of noise. The bike doesn't need any more torque anyway....

Glad you got the duke sorted. Interesting reading all the off topic stuff on the PB track frenzies etc. Anyone else thinking this sort of period '96 to 99 was the 'golden era' of recreational biking? For me it certainly was, I was out to local bike meets at least 4 nights a week in the summer, with a good group of local lads. There were some great bikes coming out, triumph daytonas, things like tlrs, obviously R1 s, new rsv mille, etc, busas and bikes seemed affordable, kit seemed cheap, and whilst plod was about to control proper naughty stuff, there wasn't the amount of scamera vans about ( saw my first one in 2000 round my way). Biking seemed more carefree, and just more fun. Maybe I was just younger and faster! But the recreational biking scene just seemed so so exciting then!
