So your 4.6 is a hybrid then Peter, or does it run on batteries or hydrogen? I thought you were doing your bit for the environment, like the rest of us nutters woohoowoohoo

Maybe I should convert to LPG as chimpofgas!

I can do £120-140 of fuel on a T/D at about 8 mpg. Just imagine, you could double that to 16!

They are short, I fact only just enough thread to get the bottom bolt on ill take a look tomorrow and measure where I put mine on the bonnet

when you say they are short is there any leeway if you position them a few millimetres either way? need to know exactly and if position can be bettered

wheres slideways??????? yours fitted fine whats the secret?
I changed my user name smile
When I say they are short you have just enough threads to get them on without putting undue stress on the bonnet when locking them closed, mine were placed in the corner of the bonnet on the passenger side just forward of the groove in the inner wing where the wiper motor sits then copy on the drivers side, I wouldn't like to give you exact measurements as you know these cars can differ and I'd hate for you to drill your bodywork and it not line up, Daz has a good idea using a female threaded adapter to lengthen the studs then you can put them anywhere.

Seems to have done.
One reason was nobody seemed to want to organise it.
Another was that individual purchases stood a chance of not being charged VAT and import duty, and their admin fee, by the Post Office, whereas a bulk buy was almost certain to get caught.
Mine were £15 cheaper than i expected for that reason.

Oh, I completely forgot to say I fitted mine and post pictures. Oh well.

I ordered a set that took 5 weeks + to get here thanks to the bloody post office and customs. I eventually spoke to the chap back at Gucci who offered to send out another set with Fedex. I waited another week, then took him up on the offer. Fedex are good...parts arrived here within a week along with the customs bill. 2 weeks after that however the original ones arrived at customs. Its not worth sending the spare set back apparently so I was told to just keep them if they show up (YAY).

Anyone want to buy a set? €50 inclusive DPD postage to UK. Paypal or Wire transfer.
First PM gets them
