I'm definitely getting one, there's quite a few things I can see it would be useful for. +1 Get one, stick it to the back of a HDMI TV, USB keyboard/mouse. External storage I'll either setup a NAS or maybe just connect up another USB drive to have a play. Turns a TV into a media center for next to no cost. Could replace my netbook (HP 311c) as a general web and media center device.

No idea if anyone's hacked one yet - very likely tbh - but out of the box it runs a Plex client nicely (so Plex Media Server on the NAS), as well as basic web access and things like Amazon/Netflix/Pandora/etc etc

I was fortunate enough to have been born in the early 70s and have therefore lived through the 'right' years of the computer boom to fully appreciate the Raspberry Pi.
I'm going to get one (a B, natch) to play around with, who know it may even have a useful purpose as a second room media playback device!

Would it be capable of running fuel injection?
Then you could have Pi Injection on your car

Then you could have Pi Injection on your car Wouldn't recommend it: 1. Not enough I/O. 2. Not suited to engine bay environment. (-40C -> +140C) + vibration etc. 3. Not designed for realtime systems.

Also setting an early alarm, as are 4 or 5 colleagues. I suspect the shop will die a horrible death before I can place an order.
I'm planning on going for my first longer bike ride of the year so that it's not a waste of an hours sleep!

I've registered on RS but cant get confirmation of this...
It's even on BBC breakfast - and they have a device in their mitts.
