Entry list looks good but very dissapointed that all the TVR's, jaguar, DBRS9's, lambo and ferrari's seem to have all dissapered that where on there on previous entry lists, and all the class 2 porsches meaning less of a battle between the ginettas and porsches, plus I thought the entry list was going to be touching 80cars this year? Never mind still going to be a great race!!!

is there no Rollcentre entry this year, or for that matter a Duller entry either...?

Duller announced a little while ago that they wouldn't be competing this year, which is a shame but with them and the Rollcentre team absent, it does mean there will be a new winner this year. The Eclipse Moslers look most likely on paper, especially the McInerney & Vergers car, but I quite fancy the Paragon Porsche for a sneaky win. Strong driver line up with a fast, proven and relatively economical car; could well pull it off, especially if it's wet. The works Ginetta looks handy too with the bosses Tomlinson and Dean joined by Danny Watts and young Nigel Moore. Plus there's Calum Lockie in a 996, Allan Simonsen in an M3 GTR, the Tischner BMW and of course the giant-killing TJH Motorsport Civic.

D'you what, the entry list doesn't look that bad after all! 'Tis a shame a lot of the 'big guns' aren't out but, hey, there's still 56 cars on that list. smile

Little disappointed with that list TBH, but I'm sure some more might come out of the woodwork. There are still some great cars on there, but not the depth that I'd thought there might be, like as mentioned above the Lambo, TVR's etc. Still I guess everyone is just being careful with what they spend at the moment...

Link here for the current entry list - if you've not found it!

Top Gear car -- drivers still TBA

Less big teams is actually good news - reduces the need to watch my mirrors !!

You obviously have no idea how much those cars cost to run for one weekend and how many people there around to pay for them. Add into that unless your in a 997 RSR your relying on the Moslers to break down in order to win outright and even then it will cost you more than a Mosler costs just to live in hope, which narrows the motivation to enter even more.

Personaly I think its a pretty good entry when you look down the field.

Class 1 will be who breaks down the least (Sumpters 997 RSR IF its real would be my bet) and the other classes all look to be very competitive and are less prone to reliability issues.

Its going to be great.

Don't worry about the cars and teams that are not there but get behind the teams that have made it to the grid!!!!!

terry iam getting behind the teams, britcar is the most friendliest evironment where you can chat with all the teams and drivers without people sounding like their better than you for instance with british gt some of them think they are better than you but with britcar you can chat with any team and theyre very kind. i would like mccinerney to win theyre really nice people

Sean doesn't need your good wishes, he's quick enough as it is!

Watch Class 2 for your overall winner ??!! Calum Lockie Porsche, Tischner always finish well, the Leventis/Hardman BMW (which has done well to keep in Class 2!), Beechdean's N24's and the odd Ginetta or two should make it the class to follow - as regular Britcar fans will know from following the main Championship.

I agree with Simon, it's going to be a cracking race weekend.

Well done to all teams for getting there.

The Strakka/Leventis car is very nicely placed in C2 for an overall win, but can they make it last more than a few hours this time?

The N24's will only do well IF the Ginettas start breaking down and the TopCats Marcos will be right up there, I know the driver line up and its very competant.

Our class (4) is going to see the closest battle I suspect. We have serious 24hr competition from Barwell Motorsport and their slightly faster Integra with some experienced drivers on board and then theres some unkown quantity cars that I "suspect" will out pace us in the early hours of the race... but then what, will they keep going, what can we risk to change the balance if they do??

Its going to be mega nerd
