Guys on Friday the 19th Shell V power is the same price as normal petrol.

just a heads up smile

I plan to fill everything that uses petrol with it, I will have one powerful lawnmower. LOL

For the 335ds of the world, so will Diesel V power. Just remember as you drive off, not to blow the forecourt away in a wash of furious Diesel torque/power while you are on your way to amazing 1/4 mile. laugh

That is all. wavey

Honest John had a report of one garage selling it cheap yesterday (17th Sept.)

Whereas Asiaone reports it between 12th and 14th Sept. in Singapore : http://www.asiaone.com/Motoring/News/Story/A1Story...

Guys it was on posters they had at the pumps at both my local Shells. Leicestershire.

19th september, V power same price as regular fuel.

Certain Shell stations have run this before, but as far as I know not every Shell station nationwide does it.

Surprise, surprise the four I've checked when it's been on before didn't. frown

Sadly whilst our cars used to go like stink on V power, they must have changed the mix as they now go like crap on it so I don't buy it any more frown

The potency (or more accurately RON value) of the fuel will depend on how long its been stored, both in the tanks at the petrol station and in your fuel tank.

That'll be valid at your local Shell station then. They seem to pick a few almost at random just to mess with everyone else's heads.

Probably old fuel they're trying to shift, due to no one buying it as prices rocketed!

Will still fill up if my local is participating
