Another great show with such a massive variety.

Me and the chimp were there supping ale (only the one like)

As were a couple of Griffs.

Also another wedge in the shape of a 350sx, courtesy of Mr Jasper Gilder. (nice to meet you sir)

Really is a great little (not so now) show at a great venue and brings out some corkers.

Even the Mods showed up (vespa and Lambretta galore)

And the departing cars bit is always amazing.

Lots of hot rods & yank muscle cars departing in thunderous tire smoking glory.

Two cars of note in this respect were:

1) A Renault 5 mid engined turbo rally car thing that took off at mad speed popping and banging like you'd never believe.

2) A Ford Pop hot rod with a 10 liter all ally Merlin big block that must have been making 800hp plus

That Pop was totally mental, it was literally tearing up the road.

I left spinning my wheels in 1st & 2nd to a big cheer, but to be honest next to that Ford Pop I expect my departure seemed a bit subdued.

Anywhere else a TVR on full song sounds immense, at the Croxley event it can sound a bit tame rolleyes

I was just passing the other day and saw a yellow sign after the skid pan (cricket pitch). I wasn't able to catch the date.
