Not too far from you Daz, Gardener Douglas at long Bennington have a useful glass man, they gave me his number when I was in there a while back. I didn't use him but his work looked impressive.

Pop in on your way - Long Bennington is about 7 miles down the A1 from me. We can look at springs and ride heights.

Thanks I might do that ,I`m taking advantage of having two days off to destroy my car after that I`m working and moving house .

I will try and get up there and give those two boilers a free boiler check with my analyser and print out .

I was going to make a silly comment like 'hope QBee's boilers aren't made of fibreglass', but I've decided not to smile

The guys at the GD factory gave me his number, a Polish chap I think, who does their repairs. I haven't got the number anymore. I asked them as I was looking to have some repair work done myself.
FYI the factory is at the airfield not Long Bennington village, they are opposite the rather brilliant Art Deco control tower.

polish paul.....

i'm sure they employ him because he is small enough to fit in the footwell and do the glass work. he is responsible for making all their bucks and moulds which produce bodies of good enough quality in gelcoat to not need paint..

vv talented chap.

More like temporal displacement occurred earlier this afternoon. Hopefully, the molecular structure of both his wheel arch & Einstein are completely intact? laugh

Daz, post up a picture of the outside of the arch, it can't be too bad shirley.

If its just the lower edge it will be fine.

I'm just hoping, for Daz's sake, that he is referring to my gas heating equipment, not my wife and daughter........not quite gauged Daz's sense of humour yet.

Do I gather from your later post, Daz, that Gardner Douglas are busy for the next ten weeks, or struggling financially in the short term? After all, Christmas is the time of goodwill and empty wallets.....
