We’ve a few cars going down on the Wednesday but at differing times.

I’ve chosen an early train for a relaxed trip on the routes national.

Any suggestions for some good steak frites somewhere along the way?

You do not say what route you will be using. Anyway, here's a really good place...need to book especially at LM24 time of year.

I've stopped off at Le Six in Yvetot on he way down based off of a recommendation on here. Going via Yvetot also avoids the traffic in Rouen. When Rouen is busy, its slightly quicker this way.

Food was very good, typical French menu. No complaints.

Quite like this little place, about 10 miles East of Alencon. https://maps.app.goo.gl/yh7JuEguhi5manp26 Have stopped there a few times in the past on the way to the track.
