Yes Stephen. If you can get to the village of Hermitage in West Dorset, located between Sherborne and Dorchester., you can take a look over the car. I am here most days. Let me know when could work for you.

The listing states that there is no MOT, are you not going to put it through first? I wouldn’t consider bidding otherwise.

I confess to not having realised the MOT had expired. I am trying to get it sorted ASAP and will post a picture on the site when I have it.

I hadn't realised theMOT had lapsed, but the Lotus passed its MOT this morning, 7/5/24. The MOT test number is 8495 2904 6753. I cannot attach the certificate to this email, but I have asked the auction guys at PistonHeads to upload the photo I have sent them of the certificate to the site and remove the red ‘MOT expired’ from ‘Vehicle History’ on the home page. However, you are now safe to bid, in the knowledge that the car has a year to run on its MOT!

Hi, This is Dave from PistonHeads. I can confirm that this car now has a full and fresh MOT, all ready to go for the next owner. We are just in the process of loading the new document.

Kind Regards
Dave

Hi, why was the whole front clam replaced?

The front clam was replaced because it had suffered superficial damage from being bumped/scraped by other cars on a couple of occasions over the years while parked and you can't get fibreglass panels effectively repaired. S,o I had to get the whole clam replaced. It now looks as good as new.
