Cooper S - whats it like?

Hi all!
Seen as though this is the mini forum...i was wondering whether you could give me a little advice and insight?
I've been bought a day at Rockingham in a Mini Cooper S, and I was wondering what people thought of it to drive, whether there is anything i should know about driving it?
Basically put, is it nice, ok or naff to drive?

I love mine, and it is really nippy! Not great at cornering, and i usually play "lets see how long it takes me to get the traction control on" but I do really enjoy driving it. You will need to have your foot in the carpet, but if it's your first track day, whatever you in should be fun (i did my first one in a battered Clio!!)

Mine almost kept up with Tony996 in his Lamborghini Diablo, they are very usable cars, you can use all of the power all of the time, even in the wet which a Lambo can't
Quite comfortable hooning with TVR's and Lotus'... You will have serious fun, the instructors are great and will have you 'cadence clutching' and all sorts
