I only note that the Allegro Club holds £40k's worth of spares for Allegro owners. Worth more than the sum total of the cars, then...

Oh dear. Dan, it's probably a British thing, but my tongue was so firmly in my cheek when I wrote it that I've since developed cramp and am having to liquidise my pies before I eat them.

Oh - My - God !!!

I never, ever, thought I'd see that particular shade of metallic baby turd that BL seemed to be perfecting with the Allegro, Maxi, Marina, etc.

The people in Vauxhall's styling department really, really need to be allowed out into the community every now and then..... If only so people can throw rotten fruit and vegetables at them for being such a bunch of unimaginative muppets !!

I personally think Vaxhaul have done a wonderful thing. When I'm next stuck in traffic it makes the "name that car" game so much harder.

AND I just can't wait for the next Griff-Rhys Jones advert.

Ted - I think you need a vacation. It might be(O.K., it IS) a piece of shit, but it's not worth the bile-buildup that you're experiencing. Save your spleen for those things automotive that matter - the looks of the new 7-series BMW, perhaps... Hang in there, Ted; if you popped a gasket, we'd miss you.

It's a bloody Chrysler Neon for gods' sakes!!!

Frankly, I think Ted's outpouring of bile was entirely appropriate, though it looks to me like it was dramatically toned down at the last minute
