DSC have put up a provisional entry list.

Some weird and wonderful combinations

Just been studying the entry list - makes interesting reading.

Mazda Motors Ltd fielding 3 RX8s - all drivers confirmed, including Martin Donnelly, Mike Wilds, Richard Chamberlain and Ian Flux.

My team is head to head with that line up and it makes this awsome event all the better for thier presence. To be fair only the first Mazda is likely to be competitive on pace with the second car doing the plod job to get a result. Good on Mazda for getting involved, shame more manufacturers don't use the 24hours as a show case.

Official Press/test day at Silverstone tommorrow with passenger rides after 4.30. Should be an interesting laid back day for any piston head.

Wow! That's a fantastic entry. Phil Bennett in a Scooby eh, I bet they'll be hoping the weather is like it was last year. (I'm not though ).

There's some real star names in there: Guy Smith, Tommy Erdos, Mike Newton, Mr TOCA Alan Gow, Martin Donnelly, Dave Coyne, Cor Euser etc etc (and Henry, Simon and Chris, of course ).

Good to see the Monaro entered as well as the Morgan Aero 8. Shorty's Mosler looks favourite again though...

Did I miss the Merc SEC or is it not entered this year? I noticed Alistair Davidson's 190E which must be the same one I saw him share with Whizzo Williams in the last Willhire 24 hrs at Snetterton in '94. Is there a class for Classics too?

Can't wait! Anybody know yet if the wonderful officials of Silverstone will actually let us spectators take our cars in this time?

By the look of that list I wonder how many are firm entries... quite a few people seem to be driving 2 or 3 cars!!!!

If that entry lis comes off though it will be fantastic... Pit garages will be a tad crowded though !!!!

Phil Bennett's going to be a busy man - not only am I driving a Scooby but I'm also in a Type-R and will be found propping up bars round the circuit all night chuffing on Hamlets, singing songs and falling asleep under the Hangar St grandstand.

Looking like a fantastic entry list.

Surely the powers that be will let spectators get their cars in this year. If not, I can't see this event lasting for too many years!

Entry list looks fantastic, tickets booked. Thouroughly looking forward to it, just have to buy enough Red Bull to stay awake for the whole race this year!
