Tell wife what you have told us, came home, half cut, opened post, didn't realise that this was for Baldylocks until I had started to read it.
"Your sister, your call. I vote you tell her you opened it rather than me as a lot less embarrassing for your sister and I'll just have to keep my trap shut!"

Hand the opened letter to your sister and while doing so say, "Sorry, I opened this by mistake when I was drunk".
This is the secret to a happy marriage. Always lead with "sorry", always blame the drink.Although things do look smaller in six fingered hands, so there are downsides.
