Hello

I have always had a itch to own a Tuscan due to the stunning looks alone.

Last week i ticked this of my Bucket list. smile

Great 500 mile drive home from down south never missed a beat.

Liking it so far nice to drive if a little firm and a lively chassis.I think i still prefer the Cerbera to really drive but to pootly around in the Tuscan is very good and nice and smooth power from the sp6.

The car is a 2000 with a red rose re-built engine giving it around 400bhp so feels a little quicker than my cerb in standard form. It is not a factory S but seems to have everything the S model came out the factory with, Bigger ap brakes more powerfull engine, I have the front splitter but it would not last long on the speed bumps round here, and rear spoiler.

It is de-cated and has carbon can co rear pipes so sounds epic!

a few pictures of it. i can't stop looking at it. smile

Cheers guys, got a few little things i want to do but mainly just drive this one it seems to be in good fettle and went through it's Mot yesterday with no issues.

First little mod is the rear screen clips as i really don't like the standard ones, so hope i get the new raceproved ones next week.

Awesome car and an awesome plate. These things aren't meant to be serious and I like it.

Also what a nice stable to have. TTFN

Yes bit of a accident really,I took the cerbera of the road to pull the engine and box to fit lots of shiny bits, it has dragged on longer than I hoped, I then seen this come up and I could not let it pass by.

Owned for 8 years by a fellow pher I needed it in my life smile

looks a nice car but can't really see the appeal of TVR myself

always thought they look rather flimsy like they could fall apart at any moment

not to mention the monthly servicing required

and the horror stories and reliability woes

The above things you mention are all part of the appeal you don't get. hehe

They are a bit marmite Tvr, if you love them absolutely nothing else will do. On my 3rd one now, I can't see past them and have no ambition to own anything else as toys.

Monthly servicing????? Every 6k so once a year for me.

They do have there issue's I guess but I am a enthusiast as well as a engineer so this does not phase me its part if the fun.

And reliability wise more little niggles than anything else but for a 13 year old car you are bound to have them.

But as you say you have absorbed the stories and not facts I have been around tvrs for 6 years now and I think my passion will never die. What else can fill the gap for the same money????

What kind of cars do you actually like? Because you haven't posted your own garage, and all you seem to do is hang around the readers rides forum slagging off other PHer's cars.
