Sorry - i tried to make a poll but it hasnt worked.

Ben and Jerry's

Haagen Dazs

Those are 2 of my favourites, specifically the cookies and ice cream or chocolate Haagen Dazs.

Lots of nice ones in Rome too.

I suspect I've had Ben & Jerry/Haagen Daas at some point, but I can't remember anything particularly memorable about them.

I don't claim to be an ice-cream connoisseur but I did get the chance to sample the coconut variety from this Swiss lot & it was bloody gorgeous:

Sirmione on lake Garda. Just off the square, on the left, heading away from the castle.

From the list, Ben and Jerry's. Although from ice cream parlours I always have strawberry, there's one in Scarborough that's very nice, can't remember which place it is though.

Joes in Mumbles has already been mentioned.

From those available from supermarkets I like some Ben and Jerrys (especially the core range)
Minghella's - although the chocolate is a bit bitter
Marshfield farm

You cant beat home made Italian Gelato though and the star of the show if done properly......

Pistachio Kulfi (none of this mass produced darlek shaped crap though)
