Following on from my 'hello, I'm back - hope to get a new bike this year' thread, I had a very specific idea of what I wanted as my next bike - a 2009 HRC Fireblade.

I spent a while looking at local ones, friends offered to look at some further afield and I left my details with local dealers should they hear of anything.

In a massive stroke of luck, my local Honda dealer has got one in for p/x and gave me a call. Long story cut short, I have bought it!

It's a 2009 HRC, 12000 miles on the clock, standard aside from alarm and tail tidy.

Dealer needs to PDI it first, valet it (although it didn't have a speck of dust on it) and then deliver it to me. As part of the PDI they are going to put new sprockets/chain on and replace the front brake pads biggrin

Here's a photo:

They are aiming to deliver it at the end of the month - happy days!

Top choice.

Welcome back Soss!!

Excellent choice. That colour scheme is by far the nicest on the Blade. Enjoy!

Nice, what made you go for the HRC ? Does it have extras to go with the badge or is it color scheme ?

Best colour blade out there. Wish they did it for longer and in an ABS version frown

Remal/anyone, having sold my Repsol blade, I have a set of Nankai Repsol leathers and genuine Honda Repsol paddock jacket. PM me if you/anyone is interested. Really can't be arsed with ebay....

Thanks all. Went with the HRC as I just love the colour scheme - don't think the bike itself is any different from any other 2009 Fireblade...?

Not Reading Honda, no. Good guess though! wink
