Hmm, seems to lack the visual drama of the coupe; muscularity of the arches/wings and so on, but hopefully that's just because of the camo wrap.

In that form, it really does look almost identical to the DB9.2.

I was thinking exactly that too Yeti. Not that I'm in the position to afford the Vanquish (although I loved test driving it) theDB9 update really looks as good as this IMO

To be fair that is also true of the Vantage & DB9/S
I'm interested to see it in a "real" colour

Don't understand the camo? We already know what the coupe looks like, how different can the volante be?

Its all part of the PR game up to a "new" launch. Without the camo no one would have picked it up as being a new car.

I don't like the rear end. The spoiler doesn't work with the lines of a Volante imo. I bet it will look even more out of place with the roof down too.

I'm going to wait until I have seen it properly, but having the integrated spoiler may not work visually... it is certainly becomes only for cosmetic purposes with the aerodynamic inefficicncy of a Volante!

'Without the Camo no one would know it's a new car '- says it all really- another Db9 with a stretched price tag The db9 is looking awfully good value these days compared with the cars above it on the price list.

Indded - same engine albeit detuned. Same carbon brakes. Same adaptive damping.

The only thing you're paying for is the new interior and a full carbon body.

I'd rather have the DB9.2 Volante and spare dosh to convert it to a manual smile

Agreed, doesn't look as good as a DB9.2 Volante.

But you're not right are you. It's just the generic PH comment that's been made 1000x before, again by knobs. If you can't see any difference between a Vanquish and a DB9 I'd be concerned about your eyesight.

You're probably the sort of tosser than whinges when AM change their design for something ste, saying "I preferred how they looked before". rolleyes

Calm down fanboy, I just said that Astons look the same, I never said people who own Astons are inbreds.
First one is a DB9 from the Aston Martin homepage, second pic is the new Vanquish. They do look very similar.
