Bike engined car rev limiter
Discussion
Hi there guys I am looking to replace the omex rev limmiter on my global gt with one of those two stage dynatech rev limiters. The car is fitted with a Yamaha 4xv engine on carbs. I have no faith in the omex unit that’s on the car and I am looking for opinions in the dynatech one or any suggestions as to a reasonably priced alternative. This is the one I am currently considering

think i saw that under one of the pannels but im not certain i will have a better look when i get chance to get some work done on it.this may be a stupid question but please bear with me as i know nothing about carbs or bike engines but what does that control box manage exactly just the igniyion timing or more? if i have a rev limiter then thats a bonus as i dont think i will need to raise the rev limit over stock when i finally get the big spec engine in.still i will have to rewire the car either way as i have had a few other electrical problems and the loom isn't brilliant

^^what he said.
BTW, that two stage limiter os for drag racing, you only need a single stage really.
