Can anyone tell me how to make my Bobs available for anyone's use online?

Also, does other people using them increase my B-Spec level?

I couldn't be bothered so my X2010 Redbull now has 58,000 miles on it, never rebuilt it and still havn't changed the oil smile think it's down to 1300bhp.

As i've now hit level 40 in both A and B spec I doubt it'll move another wheel so it'll gracefully be retired from service and sit in the garage.
my Carbon slag X2010 is the same hehe she's well and truly abused

  • B-Spec Pro classic car cup, how on earth do you do this? I have tried both in my Ferrari P4 and my Toyota 7 race car and nothing, the best race I had was in the 7, he was in third & the 7 was making good ground on the dreaded 2J out in front along with the 2D also in persuit, around 6 laps in, the last corner at Monaco he tries to go up the inside of the 2D, Im not talking about a miss timed/judged corner overtake, he was literally a cars width to far over over and drove straight in to the wall spinning the car 180 degrees - at this point I think he decided to have a fag because he didnt move for about 10 seconds. Any help on completing this dreaded race? Its making me hate B-Spec again!
I followed the tips in this thread: http://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t...

Bob did it first time after that.
Thanks. I will try this as soon as I get in from work smile

It's such a shame that the game auto washes cars after endurance races. My X2010 B-Spec endurance car looked hilariously dirty in the closing laps of the 9hr race...it really did look like a car finishing a proper endurance race, grime everywhere. In the garage afterwards it looked spankingly clean frown

I want it to stay dirty please Kaz!!!!

My GT5 seems to have frozen. I completed the Vettel Challenge last night and after the final trial it said Time 2.23.00

The car then just continued lapping for about 10 minutes at walking pace, but i couldnt get past that screen to the main page.

The hard drive light wasnt on, so I rebooted. I now cannot get past the first GT5 choice (GT or arcade) to enter the game.

any ideas?
Mine has done that. It's either your Internet is hideously slow, the servers are buggered or a combination of both. I've just given up. Makes it unplayable anytime it has to do something Internet/server related.

I had another go at the Jeff Gordon Nascar special event last night after giving up quite easily before. I just scraped bronze on the first of the two lap events, but the last one (Daytona) I just cannot get better than second from last! I try and draft the blue car at the beginning and get past the red at the back, but seem to lose too much speed in the corners and the pack gets too far ahead EVERY time! Arrrggghhh! Not to mention the stupid collision sensitivity.
Have you turned the ABS off? If not, then that's the problem. Actually a thought has just occurred; They have made it impossible to turn the ABS off in a Nascar race, it will only go down to 1 now. For your sake I hope they haven't done the same for the special events!

*Remote racing? Has anyone done this via their web browser? I think it may be a good way of earning money whilst at work? Problem is when I was trying to log in to the GT5 website to control my GT5 game, it was signing me in, i could see my data and then an error message would appear and it would boot me out. Heres the sequence:

Log in:

Click Yes:

And then it would show the page of death - "the web page cannot be displayed etc" Any ideas? This has happened on two different computers, is there something I need to be doing on the PS3? Excuse my Noobiness lol.
I get exactly the same in IE8. Try logging in to the US site instead of the UK one. It's slow but it works.
I'm having the same trouble. Try'd using the US site and still no change.
What gives?

Yes, it only goes as low as 1.

Although I'm not sure how ABS affects cornering speed without braking, but it seems it does... hmmm

I think it's related to the active stability management (asm) you could turn abs off which turned asm off as it was locked on. Improved cornering speed as didn't put the brakes on.

At risk of sounding like a total plonker i'm going to ask about B spec racing.
I just had my first go, and am i right in saying basically you don't race it's a computer driver?? Am i missing something here? Is it really just picking a driver and car then sitting back and watching? If so then i don't see the attraction and GT5 has just seriously dissappointed me.confused

Don't use it then? Nobody is forcing you...

A lot of people find B-Spec incredibly useful.

I never "got it" on GT4 but I quite like it on GT5... you have to manage the driver's aggressiveness to help him win, by telling him what parts of the track to push on and where to take it easy...

Sorry think you've missed my question.

I'm wondering if i'm either doing something wrong or missing something as i don't see the benefits?

Is it just about making money or like i say am i missing the point?

It's a different skill... And you can play it while surfing the net or whatever. And some of the prize cars are brilliant (Mazda Furai, especially).

I'm sure that certain cars come up in UCD's on some peoples' games more than others! I've been desperately searching for a Motorsports Elise since I heard they're on there but I've never seen one in the UCD!
gonna add you tonite

You can leave you PS3 racing an endurance race while you sleep or go to work, earning you a lot of cash and experience points. The 9 hour Tsukuba race is popular, a lot of guys run this twice daily, for when they are asleep and then when they are in work, which gives them 6 hours of time when they can race online in the evenings. You also win different cars to those you win in A-Spec. Others like playing the team manager role.

hehe yes they pit when they run out of tyres or fuel.

Just think what you could have been doing with all that time!
