It also sums up the atitude of those that choose to mock him for enjoying his hard earned and sharing the progress with good humour.
Gulzar comes across to me as a good egg with slightly eccentric/flamboyant tastes (nothing wrong with that). I say fair play to him.
Hmmm...not sure if that's true?Gulzar comes across to me as a good egg with slightly eccentric/flamboyant tastes (nothing wrong with that). I say fair play to him.
Regardless of whether it is or not, i'm entitled to an opinion - if he wants to post these monstrosities on a car enthusiasts website then be prepared to have people who dislike his 'creations' as well as the sycophantic people who enjoy them and babble on about how it's his money blah blah blah....
Not sure how you can defend things such as this....

god there are some muppets on here!!
do what you want to your car and bike - its yours. if it makes you happy then its all good.
everyone is entitled to an opinion but if you are so keen on giving it out like its your god given right then go up to this guy when you see him next and tell him how sh!t his tattoo looks and that he's an idiot for wasting his money on it.....

I can't imagine everyone would be jumping to his defense if he modded a Corsa like that..
Really like the bike at the moment though... Don't ruin that one too
By my reckoning, Gulzar, you will have dropped about 2k on this bike before you've really ridden it, (incl cans). And no disrespect at all, but judging by the tyre wear of the old bike, and the brand new one, I'm wondering why you've not spent 500 quid on a day at Ron Haslams, to actually learn to ride a decent modern bike, and get the thing cranked over a bit. You won't come out as a racing God, I'm sure, but you'll learn a lot, have an excellent day, and I suspect you'll end up as a far better rider too.
As for what it will look like, I like the white. Am also a big fan of bright bikes and bright gear, to make yourself a bit more visible to the muppets out there in cars with tinted windows etc. so please junk the black lid, and get yourself a bright gold one, so you're a bit more visible out there!

You dont buy a nice shirt with the mindset hmm if I wear this once and wash once I'll have lost £15 on the first wear and by cutting off of the price tag loose a further £5. Its your darn shirt and you do with it as you please! If you purchase a buy to let property (a business move) then by all means you should listen to the wider public and try to do renovate to a standard thats desired by the wider public/audience.....but this my friend, is my bike, is not an investment, it is infact my toy and I will treat it as such! Im not worried about the value as some of you may have noticed by what I did to my Rolls Royce Phantom...Bentley Continental...Lamborghini...Range Rover Vogue (fabous 8 exhausts!) or the new Supercharged! As for what it will look like, I like the white. And anyways believe me the bike will e bright once im done with it lol

Agreed, but a bit or training on it wouldn't be a bad thing, would it?
Everybody has other interests.Gulzar comes off as a decent enough chap, just with an "acquired" taste.
Also, from what I've seen, his interest in cars/bikes is clearly not for the fun of driving it as much as "personalising" it. Just read up on his threads a little bit and you'll get what I mean, he has little or no interest in cars/bikes the way a lot of people on here have (I get this from the way he "talks" about them, and being dim on terms like "d-pillar", "chicken strips",...). If I can say this without being insulting to him, they're more of a fashion item than anything else to him.
Fair play to him, I'm absolutely no fan of his creations but I can easily avoid buying them second hand so I'm not too bothered.

I always enjoy the reactions he gets, it's brilliant how you can wind some people up with a bit of stick on tat
The way some people go on you would think Guzlar had walked into their house on Christmas day and pissed on the kids presents and not spent his own money on his own cars/bikes.
s3fella I reckon you should take me out on the back of yours and show me how to ride properly....cant imagine anything better than to clasp my legs around you and see firsthand how real men ride
lol
As regards stick on tats...
I got gold Yamaha Badges to replace the 3 on the bike at the mo...from thailand.
Gold tank protector from USA.
Full set mirror gold R1 stickers from Lithuania.
And a custom single mirror gold sticker from a UK based company cost more than all of the above together lol, typical!

that is literally what makes it that bit more fun to keep PHers updated lol, collecting bike in a couple hours when wrapping is finito! Should look quite stealthy..Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
