Also - while an incredible player, Ronaldo seems to unbalance teams, even when surrounded by talent. I would rather a top-class finisher in the Bergkamp / Van Persie / Shearer mould to tap in the product of our creative midfield and wide players.

Seriously though., I don't know how someone like Ronaldo would fit in given the current (alleged) activity on the transfer front. If Schurrie (or Schurrle or however the hell you spell it) turns up, and already having Hazard, where would Ronaldo play? If we were to go back to a 4 3 3 like in the good old days, I could see Schurrie and Hazard up front with perm 1 from dozens of potential strikers apart from the three we've already got on the books, so I just don't see it.

If you'd asked me a while back I would have said yes, but Hazard has come on leaps and bounds in the last six months.

With the players Chelsea have and Maureen at the helm they might not need Ronnie .. whereas Utd with Moles in the dugout *may* need Ronnie ... time will tell.
