Not quite sure how I feel about Phelan leaving but to be honest surely it's now time for him to step up and take on a bigger job than 2nd at United? Looks like Mulensteen is staying which is a positive.
Looks like Phelan is keen on a move into management anyway....

+1 - its always the way with these things though & am not surprised Phelan's gone.

Wonder why Steele has gone too though? Based on the improvement we've seen with DDG, he would seem to have done a good job.

I'll miss Phelan's pale legs but wish them both well. It's only normal I suppose with a new manager. smile

You'll be getting Steve Round, which is a good thing. His arrival seems to be the point when we started to play more flowing, passing football.

He sounds like the exact sort of manager we need to follow on from SAF.

Dead right. I think he'll be a revelation. Looking forward to the new season!

Not sure about a "revelation" , more of a chip off the old block - but that will do nicely.

A bit cheeky of Palace if they do approach United to ask to keep Zaha...

We need this lad.

Maybe you could keep Zaha and give them Welbeck - they might not notice ...

I'm wondering how Zaha is gonna fit into a team with Ronaldo already in it confused

Can't blame them for trying but with an agreement already in place it'll never happen. After all we didn't have to loan him back to them and from how he's played he seems to have been the difference! Looking forward to seeing him play for us smile

Yep, me too. he's strong & quick with good feet.

Rene Meulensteen's going & Phil Neville coming in it seems. Not sure about that one.

Martin Ferguson has gone as chief scout, but that's hardly a surprise.

Yes I was disappointed to see Rene leave but a change of him and Phelan might turn out to be a good thing with new ideas, tactics etc. Would have liked to see G Nev get a place in the coaching team, maybe he will but by all accounts Phil Neville has been tipped to be a good manager so might be a good thing him coming too (if he does)...
