Alternative wheels..
Discussion
From previous threads the common consensus from those who have weighed them seems to be the spiders weigh about 12kg give or take half a kilo :P
Having a free afternoon and it being Friday, I thought I would murder some innocent photographs with my (lacking?) photoshop skills.

the original wheels

I'm not 100% sure about the squared any more, i do like the Image ones but i also like the lighter TE37's (in silver, bronze did not work.) But do they just look a bit, dull?

Misspent youth and a idle hour with a program called Adobe Photoshop. If you take a photo of your own car side on and list what wheels you'd like to see i'd be happy to do the same, though how quickly will depend on how much free time i have.
Its a rather slap dash copy and pasting i'm doing but its enough probably to get a feel.

Hi team
I'm looking to change my wheels and need some help, please. I have read so much recently on offsets etc that I'm confused so wanted to ask a direct question about my car and what I want to do with it.
I started off with 16" Saturns, which I hated and then found a set of RL7'(17")s, which need refurbing as they leak, but given that I really wanted 18" (but couldn't find any) and that finding tires for the 17's is getting more and more difficult I think I'm ready to buy something new instead of refurbing the RL's.
So i'm look at these: http://www.wheelbasealloys.com/alloy-wheels/calibr...
Can I get away with 18x10 rear and 18x8.5 fronts without bump stops or any modifications to the body? If so, what offsets would I be looking at and what tyre sizes?
I would like a deeper dish on the rears, similar to Darren's old car:

Thanks in advance

I can't help with the offset but I do think that style of wheel really suits the cerbera. I'm looking to change my wheels and need some help, please. I have read so much recently on offsets etc that I'm confused so wanted to ask a direct question about my car and what I want to do with it.

8,5 fronts are standard but 8 is bit better for a 225 Tire.I'm looking to change my wheels and need some help, please. I have read so much recently on offsets etc that I'm confused so wanted to ask a direct question about my car and what I want to do with it.

You can't get away with 10" at the back without some wheelarch work.
I think Brummie is sporting some 10" rota's at the rear but had to modify his wheel arch to do so iirc

Great, so 18" x 8 fronts and 18"x 9.5 on the rear or will this also rub? Is 18"x9 a better/safer bet for rears?
Any idea on offset?
Cheers!

I'm running 18x8 ET35 and 18x9 ET40.Any idea on offset?
Cheers!

You may just about get away with 9,5" but your offset is going to have to be spot on.
9" is a safer bet. Suits a 255 perfectly and fits a 265 as well
