What I admire is peoples ability to name the species of bird, I'm shocking at it! I'm a member of the London WWT, and yet all my shots seem to consist of "Brown duck", "Slightly smaller brown duck" "Brown duck with highlights" etc...
I went with a pal of mine, she could rattle of their names straight away. Mind you, she could've called them anything and I would have believed her!

West London
Wow, that means they are spreading at quite a rapid rate!A few years back it was only a few pockets of them in groups. At this that rate I might see some in my garden in Cheshire by the time I draw my pension!
Luck and tameness (if thats a word).....
Luck
Tame,
was more interested in the camping kettle than worried about us
and of course food, this guy was very interested in the bread I had in my hand
All this was shot with either with an old canon 100-300 5.6L or more recently a 70-200 2.8 with a 1.4x extended.
