Thanks to all who had a hand in organising it
Was good to meet+put names to faces, then forget them, always been bad at that. Hello again to those I said hello to and hello to those I didn't. The t-shirts were handy. Not yellow next time please, I had to change this morning due to flies, and I had washed before anyone says it
Phoar, check out all those Wedges
Gonna upload some of mine onto my website later today. There's a few taken en-route too, if I took a piccie of your car and you want a better quality version, let me know........
cheers (raises pint)
Dave
edited to say : I've added photos to www.dave-chaplin.co.uk, not a vast selection as some of them ended up blurred, can't think why, hiccup

Awsome evening Guys. Its just a pity I missed so much .. Still, I can say "I was there"
I hope my parting moments were up to scratch, I had an excellent evening, with some most excellent .. People .. You Lot to be more exact.
It was great to put so many faces to the nicknames, and to see so many examples of what surely is such a fine marque.
Now, if some one can send me video / photo's of my burnup in the carpark, I would be very greatful

The poor bloke in the fiesta in the other lane when we went throught that tunnel looked like he had poo'd himself!!!.
It did not get better than today in my opinion.
The roads were brilliant, the weather was brilliant (until we go back to Wales!) the scenary was brilliant. The tunnels just put the icing on the Wedge cake for me

Still here Tas...Just got back from a solo blat.
Theres a porker meet up the road (but i wont be going there)!!
A 928 Porker turned up at the White Horse just before we left and they gave us their entrance pass to go and have a look.
The venue was fab - Walton Hall is a splendid stately pile, and there were around 500 cars there including the Paris Dakar racer and a 917 'Le Mans' racer with twin turbos, and lots of other rare Porkers.
Their autojumble was a bit upmarket though - e.g. £999 for a pair of scuffed 911 leather seats
Don't worry Neil, you have my old wedge seats for a bit less
I'm still on Cloud Nine this morning. It was a great meet. Thanks Karen and Neil, and Rev and Streaky and everyone else who put so much work in to getting the show on the road. It was good to put faces to so many handles from PH, and a real pleasure to meet so many of you. It's a day I will remember for a long time. Don
Well - what a fantastic weekend..
So many happy memories all from one great weekend.
I'd like to thank :
Neil & Karen for organising the venue and the superb BBQ
Steve R for helping with the polo shirts @ rock bottom prices (not yellow next year )
Tallbloke and Scott for helping with the parking
Ettington chase for a great venue and all their helpful staff
Streaky for organising the photo's
and our special guests who added some extra interest :
Chris Schirle - SEAC & 390 se creator
Mark Adams - V8 tuning & fuel injection geru
Steve Heath - for bringing along the 520 and (Tower View) all those DVD's
Jeff Stratham - for bringing along the factory race SEAC
Graham (now nick named Ken) - for bringing along the pink (Barbie..) Tasmin Racer
But most of all - for 80 TVR wedge owners for coming along and spending time at the biggest and Baddest Wedge Fest there has ever been.
I WAS THERE !

Sorry I could only make it a 1.5hr flying visit but well done Neil, Karen, Rev etc for organising the meeting. Great to see so many Wedges out and about.
Although I did a 200 mile round trip it was almost worth it just for a T-shirt....the insects were lovely! Great shirts for the money so well done.
BBWF - Bring barrels of wedge fuel? 200 miles = £65 in petrol (save you working it out that's about 12mpg on motorways).

We used about the same amount, but did around 340miles over the w/e. It was noticably better on economy after Mark Adams made the simple mod of disconnecting the cold start injector too.

My pleasure, it got a bit hectic at times, but it was fun. That red 280 won't get away with sneaking into the 400SE section next time

The head of reception, who was having a couple of late ones at the White Horse on saturday night, promised to put in a good word with 'DA MANAGEMENT' for next year.
