Last seen under a tarp in Bath due to the guy I sold it to not knowing what the little green oil light was!
It was a monster (2.6) and pretty rust free (complete rebuild late 80s).HBD350L
Any ideas?

Not quite as good as the yellow one but still solid (I swapped it for a Passat, it made sense at the time).

This old bird was a genuine PI estate, completely rebuilt the body, it had a 2500s clothe interior and wheels but otherwise a gem (rebuilt engine as well) I'd buy this back if I could (and the yellow GT6)
Any ideas chaps

Well thanks for that, can you do that for any car?

Thankinyou very much, good stuff.
I may give it a try on the PI and BWE.
The PI had larger valves and a ported head plus a few freeflow bits (it was a long time ago) it was a major rebuild at the time. New o/d box as well. I scrapped a 2000 just for the carpet set, those were the days (the 2000 was too rotten for the bangers the engine and box lived on in another 2000).
I have a load of photos of the PI in various points of rebuild somewhere. It was a great car and I used it to run from Bath to St Just often, I traded it for a 2.8 Granny Ghia X Est, which wasn't as good but I was swayed by gadgets.
I'm wiser now.
How about this one?

Now that realy needed a rebuild there isn't enough space to list the problems I had with that old slag sorry stag.
Cheers
