Iirc it was Derek Moore's car that was the best. 613/5 UK. 4.3, forged pistons and rods and various other Porsche bits, EFi and a sophisticated ECU, fabulous dark green metallic paint and tobacco leather interior. Hand built, hand crafted bespoke loveliness.

I had a 1993ish 613-4Mi and it was a hoot. A green standard wheelbase car, LHD, ex-Derrick Moore and ex-Classic & Sports Car staff car. If you have not seen one in the metal they are bigger than you think (S-class size) and drive really well. I ran mine as a daily for a year or so I think before getting a Bitter SC to replace it. Kept it quite a while longer but it was quite rusty and leaking an amount of oil that was beyond my skills or budget to fix. Apparently it is back in CZ being restored now.

On a recent trip out into the mountains I saw some fabulous Soviet era trucks, many of them still earning their owners a few dollars. My lovely co driver thinks I'm a bit weird when I get excited to see some old beaten up truck from her past hehe

A rather robust looking thing with a beautiful street dog snoozing in her shadow.

On my return to the city I noticed a couple of lovely Soviet era cars....

And a rather curious looking Jag - I assume this is a franken-Jag as it just doesn't look right......

I like what they did to this Russian car.

This is the Volga V12 Coupe supercar. It is styled after the 1956-1970 Volga M21, which was the most luxurious car made in Russia.

While it does resemble the Gorky Automobile Works M21, it isn’t a Volga nor is it entirely Russian. Now that you’re totally confused here’s the deal; this is a custom body built on a BMW 850csi chassis. The V12 engine is BMW’s 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V12. So essentially it is a re-bodied 850csi. With the exception of the wheels, it looks like it is a 1957 Volga coupe.

That's got a Mk10 Jag look about it from the rear.

More 420G/MKX than Bentley, imo.

Another curious Soviet era car that I see parked local to me.......

And obviously not a Soviet era car but this RR stands out amongst the local cars, especially with the 007 number plate. The 99 as seen at the right of the plate indicates it's from Moscow.

A Moskvitch 400, which was a copy of the Opel Kadett.

A bit modern, but I saw a Lada Vesta today. Profoundly uninteresting so it would have been quite unjustifiable to take a photo.

That Wartburg looks great on those wheels, but you can stick that menu where the sun don't shine vomit. And what is it with Hungarians and fruit soups. They are mental.
