Hello all!

The time has come to replace the front nearside tyre on my 96 900S, and the offside isn't too far behind so I have decided to replace that at the same time. I have these wheels :

They are currently shod with 195/60R15 Goodyear Eagle NTC-5 all round, although I believe the rims are meant to have 185's on as standard.

So should I just replace the front two - if so, with exactly the same type again to try and keep the whole car matched?

Or should I just bite the bullet and see if I can get a favourable discount on getting the whole lot replaced?

If the latter, any personal recommendations on brand and model? It's no sports car and I don't really try and drive it as such, so I just want a good safe tyre (although I'm happy to sacrifice some longevity for decent grip)

Thanks for any help and advice!
Tim.

If the rears are ok, why bother replacing both pairs?

Put the rears on the front, and get new ones on the back

Oh, and you might as well stay with the NCT5s!

Thanks NCoT,

The only reason I was considering replacing all the tyres, was if somebody knew a reason why running 195s was bad, and that I should change back to the 185s it would have been shod with as standard.

If 195s are fine, then I shall probably take your suggestion

Thanks again.
