Have to paint my Glass bodied scimitar and once it's rubbed-down and ready I think the below is the way to go based on conversations I've had and paint jobs I've seen so far, what do you think?

(1) 2.0 lt 2K Primer - 4-1 mix with hardener then 10% thinner
(2) 2.5 lt 2K Acrylic Paint - 2-1 mix with hardener then 10% thinner.
(3) finish off within 24 hrs with 1000 grade wet&dry then wax up.

I reckon therefore I'll need:
2.5lt 2k Acrylic Paint
2.5lt 2K Hardener
5lt 2K thinner
As this paint is seriously dodgy fumes I'll also need a good paint respirator spray mask.

All for about a hundred quid.

What do you think?

i did mine in cellulose which came out great. I just flatted off the old paint and did 5L high build primer and 3L top, including door shuts but not under bonnet. 3L was enough for 2 top coats thats all!
