Stainless sports exhaust advice SE6
Discussion
I'm looking for a good sports exhaust system for my SE6A. can anyone point me in the right direction. I currently have quicksilver tubular manifolds and to be quite honest they're rubbish - they only have a short drop to the collector and lasted 6 months before cracking. the worst £200 I ever spent!
would prefer matched length manifolds to improve flow. advice on bore sizes.

Thanks for the advice Nick and Paul,
1 3/4" at the manifold then. Thats the size if the ports anyway so larger would just create problems.
2 1/2 on the rest of the system from the collector back. I'm thinking on "V" gate baffle in the mid box and straight through on the tail pipe.
Design isn't an issue as I have a friend who works with CAD - gas flow dynamics programs come in handy But I would need a good fabricator.
Are GW supplying Double S or copies? Are they matched length, sequential phasing or just where they fit?

sod it..... I'm going to take the plunge and invest in a TIG, pipebender and a flange tool. I'd never be happy unless I built it myself anyway
looks like a few hours of measurement and CAD ahead (and a some strange looks from the missus when the new kit arrives)
anyone for a matched set of stainless headers I have an SE5 and SE6 so I should be able to supply for both. may be a few months before the first one gets done due to equipment costs but once I got the pattern I can knock them out in a few days.
and it'll make the job easier when I build my BOA powered SE5
