What’s the score with Tyson on crutches then?

Anybody else seen Tyson in training and wondering if he might actually kill Paul?
Nope.

Much more likely it is the other way around if it is actually a proper fight.

Or getting a banker excuse in early.

I still say Fury for a (dirty/controversial) win - or a messy draw.

100%

It's OK smashing combo's out on the pads but fighting is completely different

Tyson will look very slow and very old in this fight sadly.

That said there's little doubt in my mind that the whole fight and it's outcome will be determined already.

Interesting. I believe that Tyson will smash him in the first round.

It's the only hope he has. A wild swing that connects. Paul just needs to avoid that for a couple of minutes and Mike will be done. He's an old man now whose punch resistance had gone 20 years ago.

I really wanted to disagree there (being roughly the same age as Tyson)

However- I just then watched MT vs RJJ - and followed that by JP vs TFury.

No contest. Probably scripted but JP takes that all day long.

I'm wondering the opposite. All his training footage I've seen looks like 3-5 second cuts of bag action.

He's nearly 60, I have a feeling this might go really badly for him.

He’ll be blowing after a few flurry’s. It’s a nonsense ego trip fight which shouldn’t be allowed to happen. In his prime he’d take JP in 2 rounds and really hurt him/ the whole event is fking tragic. As is that BS JP character, making a mockery of the sport with his fellow special media ‘stars’

Prime Tyson would end Paul with one good clean right hand, but he’s not up against prime Tyson sadly. It’ll be a draw, it’s all just showbiz. Mugs will pay to watch it and that’s the only reason it’s going ahead.

Even if it is just planned as heavy sparring then it could still be damaging for Mike. Near 60yr old bodies ravaged by time and bad living simply cannot withstand the physical impact a cruiserweight can deliver.

Are there headguards being worn? As you say, a 60 year old head & neck & a decent shot aren’t a good thing.

Perhaps I’m over analysing & Tyson will monster him…..

Tyson is down to his last $10m and the rumours are $20m for this, this is nothing more than a huge pay day for a sparring session.

I believe it's now considered a professional fight, so I guess that rules out headguards?

Usyk made some comments on yesterdays carry on, he’s such a class act in fairness to him, even down to saying I can’t say John is bad I don’t know what life he has had.

Well John is a thug of the most horrible kind, a bully, and should be in jail.
