Fair enough. The car is rather wide at 1803 and 4380 length i.e. 41%, about the same ratio as the M1. AFAIK, no other M car reaches that ratio, most under 40%. I wonder how much that contributes to the fun handling.

I thought the 1M looked so good on Top Gear. What a feature as well really enjoyed it, fantastic TV.

Has anyone seen one in Black? I'm worried Black wont show the lines of the car compared to Orange or White but think it could be the safest colour to go for long term.
The dealers seemed a little desperate to shifts the cars a few months ago, emailing and calling me but situation was different then.
The few dealers I've contacted in the last few days have all said they won't budge on the list price. Anyone know of any dealers discounting the car?

Have a look at the black car in the above link - about 30 pics - looks very smart. I ordered an orange car, then changed to black, hope it looks great in the metal as haven't seen one yet! I really like the orange but I wasn't brave enough in the end!
I tried really hard to get a discount on my car but the dealer wouldn't do anything. From what I can make out only people who have bought a few new cars through the same dealer have been given a discount due to loyalty.
