Just did this on mine too; definitely more support, and it's not really noticeable that there's less padding for your back. It took me a good half an hour though, as those bd little metal clips are a PITA to get off if all you have at your disposal is a kitchen knife and a pair of long nosed pliers!

Take the seat out.. Undo all the clips holding the cover on and start hacking away at the base foam. We can't do the back one on ours, or atleast I didn't try as it seemed pretty difficult.The bottom one I just started cutting away at the foam until I got rid of enough (And was bored) then put it all back together.
