Despite awful weather over here, this is a 3 day weekend so I'm not going to let your deviant strap preferences spoil my personal truth. Wear whatever you enjoy, you savages.

Just arrived, a JDM Seiko quartz chrono model number SBTR009. But these SBTRs come in a bunch of other colour variations, including with black bezel (the ice blue one with the subdials in a different position is real nice too SBTR029)

I ordered from Discovery Japan just this time last week, amazing really for £122.87 including shipping (plus £3.67 currency fee from my credit card co).

The 40mm size and short lug to lug make this suitable for anyone really. Will pop it on the strap shown which I ordered separately but also just arrived.

Very nice. How was the order process??

This falls outside thread budget when new, but I found an bargain which I couldn't turn down so now falls within thread budget.

Going on holiday soon, so what I absolutely needed was an ISO Certified divers watch to jump in the a shallow pool with the kids, it's the perfect man math justification, a normal 100m watch wouldn't do, it needed to be ISO Certified.

Citizen Promaster Divers Super Titanium

With it only having 200m rating make sure you don’t get carried away and enter the deep end of the big pool. Most watch experts seem to suggest it needs at least a 1000m for that kind of thing.

Nice watch.

If anyone remembers my problems with the Cestrian master series V2 and it's dodgy lume, I decided to try again with this used V1 for £50 and sure enough, it's great.

Compared to the dial of the V2:

I wonder why they changed? Either way, I'm happy now!

Well, I dithered with the current itch and now it’s not available. Either that’s a good thing or a message to stop procrastinating!

I was given this around 12 years ago and haven't worn it much. It's a Rotary so well below thread budget. The aircraft on the watch face is fairly rare though.

Citizen Promaster Divers Super Titanium

I really like that, and just saw that Amazon.com have it on sale new for $205, which seems like a bargain.

I can't find that Citizen above, but any thoughts on this at €126?

Massively over thread budget, even massively discounted as we managed to find it, wife's new watch she's just bought herself, Longines Master Collection Moon phase.

I like that. I have the chronograph version and it’s been very reliable…

And it would look awful on mesh

Simple, was surprised it got here so quick from Japan, was expecting about 3 weeks rather than one.
Also, maybe I got lucky but didn't get hit by VAT. At least not yet anyway.

Sorry to self-quote but I've decided against, despite very much liking it and not having a Citizen. I have several blue watches and it's too similar to my Casio Duro.

VAT or import duty.... Has a threshold of something like £135 iirc, and not on used goods if declared as such on the importing paperwork?

I couldn't resist getting my 3rd San Martin when they waved this under my nose for £126. Delivered in around a week. I'm very impressed all round.

By all accounts they seem like very well made watches, £126 is a bargain.

I'm waiting until they do a few more of their own designs before I jump in. I've been quite impressed with their year of the dragon models, but don't think the bright red is for me.
