Not a cool thing seen on FlightRadar as such, but a cool aggregator of ADS-B data that you can query:

Been following G-FPLD on it's return from the Falkland Islands. Recently landed back at base of Teesside Airport. Quite a trip for a small twin

I believe that’s the airfield calibrator aircraft. We used to a bit with a DA42 in the Middle East, they were long trips!

Plenty of Police vehicles as well as the obvious fire trucks attending this diverted flight from Newcastle to Cape Verde

How strange - the same thing happened to the same flight back in February.

There are a quite a few loops over the North Sea. I wonder if they're looking for ships / subs.

Where in the country are you? I'm pretty sure there was one based at Compton Abbas that was owned by the then airfield owner (now owned by Guy Ritchie).

He’s come out of Bagington (Coventry), done a loop round East Northants where I am and is now seemingly heading back to Coventry.

It is, operated by Thales. You'd think they'd be able to find someone a little closer to do the calibration though . . . Best part of a week each way, calibration and probably two pilots. Costly trip.

Pair of high-flying RAF Typhoons heading into Black Sea area, presumably from Cyprus.
