Lidl have started to offer a premium Chicken Kiev. £3.99 for a packet of two. It's absolutely belting for an easy oven meal. We had it with their zappable swede and carrot root mash and some tenderstem broc.

If you're meaning Aldi's, at £1.50, we had them yesterday, and for a supermarket naan they're very good. However. Across the green from us is a Premier corner shop. Their naans, at £1.99 for two are simply THE best naans I have ever had from any shop. 1 minute either side on a wetted naan, and perfection.
perhaps it's a regional thing but these aren't in my local ALDI. they had Riya's instead, which are packaged and look exactly the same.I've also noticed they have some new seeded burger buns that look to have some kind of everything bagel seasoning/seeds ontop.

Jokes aside though, IME any naan is better for a splash of water either side before heating.The horrible shrink wrapped naans that last ages in the cupboard can be turned into something actually quite edible by running them under the tap first then popping in oven at a lower and longer heat. They turn fluffy and quite nice.

In general you can't go far wrong with a Primitivo I think. Lidl in Lux did one for €3.89 for the last few years which was an absolute steal. It's now gone up to around €5 but is still an excellent general table wine. 21st Century Man said:
