Normally I find it hard to criticise a ‘Gone a bit AMG’ breakfast, I will excuse his use of beanage on account of the other excellent produce, consistent preparation and fine presentation.

However, I can no longer be silent, beautifully cooked bacon, well prepared eggs, finely buttered toast, WTF are the beans doing in there.

I agree with you. I'm a fan of GABAMG's work, but beans have no place in a sandwich.

Gravity pretty much ensures that I would have thought.

Problem is that when the correct amount of Lea And Perrins has been added to the beans, dribbles will result.

Sorry!

Lea and Perrins Worcester Sauce. A must have addition to baked beans. Try for yourself and report back.

The lack of a plate does not make it a sandwich wink

A plate?

You were lucky, we had to make do with a bit of cardboard, tin foil on a Bank 'oliday, but we were 'appy kids....

You may well have been drinking all day, but no way can you seriously believe that those two matching pieces of perfectly buttered toast, the mirror images of the loaded slices, weren't laid atop the feast after the photo was taken?

You've been around long enough to know how breakfasts work; of course they were sammidges.

My wife made hot cross buns this week.
They’re the best ones yet. Proved 3x, they’re a decent size…. These fruity buns too.

HCB look decent!

Popped to the supermarket and fancied a sausage bap. There is a local ‘car cafe’ so obvs stopped off. This and a cortado was £11! Expenny, but I don’t want the place to close, so pop in from time to time.

Got to sit in the sun too

Clearly men of taste and capable of consuming a sandwich with a slightly moist filling. Beans are no more challenging than a runny yolk.

Here’s this mornings controversy, too much pepper, not enough egg and a square plate, I do wonder how some of you mange to get dressed of a morning. wink

Tea and two fried slices just outta shot.

Ah but it's not, the butter doesn't go to the edges of the toast. I always ensure the edges are properly buttered, else you get a dry bit all round the edge.
