£1 from Iceland.

What is it? I have some of their ready meals from time to time when I get fed up of the limited choice in the Tesco 85p range and feel like splashing out, I just don't recognise this one. Is it one of the ones in a bag?

Savoury golden rice & chicken.

I find their £1 pasta meals very good too.

Cheers, I think I've had that one and enjoyed it.

Mrs V. had Chinese on Tuesday whilst I was out poncing about. There was half a tub of Beef & Black Bean Sauce left. I didn't fancy rice as I'd had it 2 days in a row, so i thought how could I cook it? Chips? No. Beef & Pasta? Wrong but let's give it a go! Add a lonesome leftover frankfurter that was lurking at the back of the fridge:

Twas bloody delish and I would cook it again.

The plastic tins from the CooP dont work well at 230c in an Aga.
My wife was in an AirB&B for her work last week and the Aga was on. Supposedly tasted great.

Plastic leachate must be through the roof with those things.

Another £1 Iceland microwave meal, this time with a 50p garlic baguette.

Have you tried any of the Tesco / Sainsburys 85p ones? They tend to be my cheap quick meal of choice, though the range at Tesco has been cut down the missing ones are in Sainsburys.

No not yet. I'm not a big fan of Tesco but will take a wonder into Sainsburys soon.

Cheese omelette. Very slightly overdone for my tastes but not bad at all.
