Catering for a party of 25 ….. Illinois style.

Big box of salad…. Not many touched it. Murrcans.

Big tray of Mostacciolli pasta … ate leftovers for 3 days’ lunches afterwards!

LEFT : Big tray of “roast beef in gravy”, served with a massive bag of French bread rolls, and either sweet or spicy peppers… all went
RIGHT: Big tray of fried chicken …. all went

lick

All of that for $220 delivered!

…with a decent loaf of bread at $6+, it’s easy to see why so many eat out or order for delivery!
Sorry but that looks like children's food to me.

If that's what you fed your children i'm surprised they didn't leave you and move in with Josef Fritzl.

On the whole $220 with enough to feed 25 people + 3 days' worth of leftovers isn't bad, decent spread RC. I'm more inclined to take umbrage with "decent loaf of bread at $6+" - a sign of the times...

This was an interesting thing from the local kebab shop, never used them before as I found a favourite a couple of miles away.

Kebab in a box. Chicken, donner, chips and cheese, garlic mushrooms and a garlic bread with cheese (left in kitchen, I'm not that greedy!)

£20

The very definition of what this thread is about, a fantastic addition, looks utter filth, would absolutely smash.

Agreed, that's borderline awfulness, especially the 'shrooms. Well done.

It was actually really nice.

I do miss the old challenges that used to happen in this thread. Last one was mountains of Maccies.

£8.20 is not expensive for fish and chips. You must be somewhere near the frozen north to consider that expensive

You say that, but when going to a Chinese I expect a lot of Salt Pepper and Chilli. That looks more like the MSG is in a sauce rather than sprinkled on top of fried stuff?

I am indeed reasonably northern.

It was billed as a small fish & chips. It wasn't a bad size to be fair & the fish was 'thick'

But i remeber in the not too dim and distant past when you used to get it as a £5 special!

£8.20 the going rate for a fish finger and chips? You've got to be off your bonce. Just checked the 3 chippys within a mile of the office, the below is the middle of the 3 - thank God sense prevails in North Yorkshire
