I thought I would start this thread, because up until yesterday, all my comments on supermarket curries were confined to the Aldi Jalfrezi curry, which is IMHO is very good.
Yesterday, I had the M&S Fiery Hot Chicken Tikka Masala and it now resides in my number one spot. It has Naga chillies and is very fragrant, the chicken is of a superb standard and it is hot. It was £5.50, which may seem expensive to some, but I think it was worth it.

Is the M&S one labeled as Fiery Hot, or is that your description biggrin

Just that I've just popped in and under the £5.50 shelf it's just Chicken Tikka Masala.

Bloody Pistonheads and other motoring forums have convinced me to buy a Boxster, a Discovery 3, various tech, a Brompton and now a £5.50 microwave curry from M&S, which I don't tend to visit.

Have to say that it's a much calmer shopping experience and the customers are not Chavvy unlike my usual Tesco smile
Did you look at the video? They do two, one is the standard one which you have purchased and the other is clearly labelled "Fiery Hot".

I can vouch for the Iceland takeaway ones
Really?

On what basis?
I assume (Maybe incorrectly) that this is the one. I have yet to find it on the shelfs, but I would love to try it.

Thats the one, probably the only supermarket curry I don't have to add anything to.

Can I put forward this from Asda?

It was excellent, better than many I've had from a restaurant.
You certainly can put that forward, had their Keralan Chicken last year, it was an excellent flavour (yes, I did add some finely chopped chillis), but I haven't been able to find any since.

In the alternative you could make a curry yourself or go out with friends / partner for a few drinks and a curry.
Perhaps you could also pop into the wristwatch thread and tell them just to look at the clock on their phone instead?
BOOM!
Game, set and match.

biglaugh

Currently ticking into the M&S one recommended here. It's very good.
Glad you are enjoying it. Are you getting the fruitiness and hint of coconut, as well as the obvious heat?
