Series 4 started filming on 10 August every Tuesday evening at 7.00 pm. They spend the week rehearsing and shoot most of the scenes live. They do two takes of every scene. At the episode we saw everyone said their lines perfectly first time. They didn't even appear to read the script between scenes. It was very impressive. The only retakes were when the virtual Sheldon robot got stuck. Although there are some similarities between the characters and the actors they do seem to go 'into character'. After the filming they did appear much more relaxed. Leonard and Sheldon seemed quite reserved whilst Raj and Howard were loving the attention.
But is Penny as nice in real life? PS, you're a git for being able to go when I can't!I liked the way this episode ended with the way Sheldon clearly accepts Penny as a proper friend
