Discussion
Heard the head of the Scottish Police Federation on Radio Scotland today. Pointing out that after the hate crime reports the next big demand on police resources will be subject access requests as everyone requests copies of any info Police Scotland hold on them in case they have been recorded on a non crime hate incident.
I actually think it is utterly astounding that the police think it acceptable to get a 3rd party report which they assess as no crime and thereafter record a non crime hate incident without telling the person who was complained about.
This could lead to someone failing to get a job based on innaccurate information recorded by the police which they didn't know was there.
In any case, aparently there is a 1 month time limit for the police to respond to subject access reports. The Fed guy said that would involve a lot of work. If the one month target is missed there could then be complaints to the Information Commisioner. That would then be more work responding to the complaint.

It's almost as if someone wants the police chasing their tails rather than investigating crimes such as, oh, let's say abduction and extortion or misfeasance in public office. The first weeks figures of hate crimes are in, from the SNP's propaganda machine...BBC Scotland.
And surprise surprise the largest amount is race related.

Anyone complain about the lorry taking their brother in law to jail being white? And surprise surprise the largest amount is race related.

This popped up on my YouTube feed this morning. Looks like the SNP are a laughing stock as far away as Australia. Doesn't reflect well on Scotland. I like how they picked up on the BBC's reporting too.

Over half the complaints were about him complaining about everybody being white in a country that’s 96% white
His response was all the complainants were “far right” simple, end of .. nothing to see here

The MSP's from all parties costs for 2022/23, the claims limit it set at £139,200 maximum just look at how close to this limit some of them reached, Sturgeon claimed the full £139,200 as did Paul Sweeney from Labour.
For a grand total of £16,167,310.11...they are soaking this up every year, no wonder they fight tooth and nail to keep their noses in the trough.

So paying for offices and staff, leaflets etc
MPs are almost a limited company and have to pay for their own offices and staff costs and then claim back from parliment.

Great comment at The Herald.
"Having steered the SS Clustercluck slap into the gender-affirming iceberg it was entirely in character for Sturgeon then to nab the first seat in the lifeboat, fend off everyone else with an oar, then set sail into the sunset, leaving the whole charade to tear each others' throats out before sinking without trace, bar a slight malodorous residue at the bottom of the barrel."

Back in the 1970s Strathclyde Police had at least one full sized single decker blue Ford bus for prisoner transport. Often called into action when the notorious Sheriff Francis Middleton was on the bench at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Or the legendary Irvine Smith. A friend of mine was a criminal lawyer and appeared in front of Irvine Smith a few times after he moved to Greenock. He asked one accused why he had failed to appear at a previous hearing. When told it was because he couldn't afford the return fare Sheriff Smith responded "What made you think you would need a return?" Before giving him a custodial sentence. alangla said:

How is it all of a sudden knackered when someone should have said 6 months ago,the hinges are going done,we better get some ordered so we don't have to wait for them when the ferry is in for repair.
