It was more than steep though, looked like it was beyond vertical??
I think that's what the bloke meant by 100 degrees (ie greater than 90 degrees), ie your body goes from vertical at the top, to slightly more than horizontal during the drop.
Yes, the drop is actually inverted, so you don't just drop straight down, you go slightly back on yourself!

Awesome!
Now....an inverted drop but the same height as the big one at blackpool...now that would be $hityerpants scary.

I'm getting old! I usually put a glass or mug on a coaster so I thought i'd spill my drink on the steepest one.

Perhaps I would after all.

The Incredible Hulk coaster at Florida is about my limit for coasters. Anything more extreme than that is a no-go for me.

Unless the video is edited down (which i suppose is likely) it looks very tame from after the drop to the end, and the drop itself looks very short.

Saw this being built last year and promised to take my girls there as soon as it opened. Guess who has the pleasure of riding (and queueing) for it on Sunday!

Metal coasters suck
yes 99% agree.

except in the case of Nemesis - that is a masterpeice of a coaster.

but my favorates remain the Grand National and Wild Mouse at Blackppool
There are some good steel coasters, but the woodies tend to do negative G far better than the steelies. My favourite coaster by a long way was the Cyclone at Southport, loads of air time.

Grand national is a great ride too.

It's never the same as when you're actually there. Been on a track day? Being in the car usually feels rapid, but watching a video of it filmed from the sidelines, it looks fairly slow compared to how fast it felt when you're in the car.

Make sure you check the Thorpe Park website on Sunday morning before you leave to make sure it's up and running, if it's anything like Stealth it'll be broken repeatedly during the coming weeks (trust me, I was working for TP when Stealth opened, that was a customer services nightmare).

I endorse this post! hah!

It broke the last time i was there, right at the top, luckily, or unluckily whichever way you look at it i wasn't on it at the time.

Slightly OT but..

Where do you sit on rollercoaster, after a bit of testing we found that the back of the coaster was the best place for G-force.

sign of an experienced coasterer in my opinion - the back normally has the best air, the highest G. Unless it's a LIM start, of course.

back is best, agreed, however I love being at the front - with just the view in front of me - feels like flying

Yeah front for view is great, especially on vertical drop coasters! I road the hulk in Universal in the rain at new year... that was just painful felt like hail stones.
