So for that throwaway line now have to take it on trust that the writer hasn't got mud in the financial sector of their brain as they clearly have elsewhere.

I should have added another rolleyes smiley to the last comment in my post as required by:

That article is a perfect microcosm of media/government.

The headline is likely to invite a sage nod from most right-thinking people (and wrong-thinkers too) ...but as for the rest of it, fking hell, where to begin?
