Shame the article is riddled with falsehoods, so the author pulled all his own punches before he threw them.

This. Just more fake pearl clutching for it's intended audience. Has the Spectator just become a more high-brow version of the Daily Mail now?

"Has become" suggests it wasn't before.

The spectator is as biased as its authors. This one is about a par.

Not unless the Mail start recruiting Harvard PhDs and or professors in political science to write op-eds.

A Harvard PhD isn't necessary to regurgitate GoP bullst into an article, AI would probably have done a less 'phoned in' job. That he has written this screed of lies is presumably an embarrassment to the University of Chicago.

Well the author of that article failed to check about the ban on religious symbols on eggs.. had they done so, they'd have known it's been in place for decades (including under Trump).

Wow. The author must really like stepping on his own credibility.

"defending the basic freedoms"

Wasn't it Joe's administration who persecuted and people lost their jobs and livelihoods because they were not given the freedom to make the basic choice about their medical decisions?

Let me guess...."that was different".

Very stirring propaganda otherwise.

FTFY and your ilk as you’ve been banned from the other threads because of your unacceptable conduct.

Que playing the victim, mean lefties, etc. just as you’ve been taught by your tango cult hero.
