Eric was rolled out onto Fox News last night to try to muddy the waters after Cohens testimony

Changed to story now about the payment after the invoice with Weisselbergs writing on it... Telling so many lies they are tying themselves in knots with all the different versions whilst trying to claim it was a legal expense
https://twitter.com/i/status/1790161706527912192

Ingram asked hi twice if trump signed off on everything, Eric ignored it, because of course he was supposed to be running the company, not trump
https://twitter.com/i/status/1790165195639398716

Eric Trump: Every organisation, including this one, would go down in flames if an NDA was illegal
https://twitter.com/i/status/1790166574953066612

LOL - Remember Roger Ailes, used NDAs to hide his sexual abuse of women at Fox, big friend of trumps
https://twitter.com/nycsouthpaw/status/17901738329...

and of course "trump: I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything,"

Habba was rolled out onto Fox to push the 'if they can do this to trump they can do it to you' and the 'trumps in the way of them doing this to ordinary people' lies again

Interesting bit of testimony from Cohen yesterday
Cohen testified about ways he and Weisselberg discussed raising the $130,000 to pay Stormy Daniels. They considered giving away a golf club membership or crediting a family looking to host a bar mitzvah at a trump property.

trump couldn't/wouldn't pay it himself. In fact this was at the point in the 2016 campaign when trump had ran out of cash and had a sudden $10m routed through Egypt to keep his campaign alive. Even then trump had no money.
That was part of the Mueller investigation, got spun out to a separate investigation after Mueller was shut down, then Barr killed it.

It's not just about registration. Jones also requires that it has to be built in the US and owned and crewed by US citizens/residents
Fair enough. Possibly some good shipbuilding opportunities to come.

Although if the wind farm is more than 12nm offshore, so in international waters, how much of a challenge is it really? US built barges could transport the kit from port to the field where the specialist non US kit is working.
US shipbuilding is almost as st and expensive as UK shipbuilding; even if you can find yard capacity that isn't booked up for government work for the next 20 years the quality isn't great.
The construction of Jones Act vessels is the biggest talking point in the western sector of the offshore wind industry. Its driving a lot of not just ship building but installation equipment contracts (most of which comes from here/ EU). The first are about to be completed by the likes of Edison Couest and the rest of the US ship charter crowd. Its a very closed shop industry and they're fiercely proud of the Jones Act (even though it does massive harm, just ask Orsted).

That aside, its of interest as it shows how even those supporting Trump will be at each others throats should he get in. Does he ps off the coal/ O&G crowd or ps off the wind energy/ marine sector crowd? Of course he'll end up pissing them both off as the guy hasn't got a clue about management but it'll be a stshow, thats for certain.

Someone posted a Sun Tzu (?) quote on here recently about a true loony being someone who would happily reduce a country to dust as long as he could rule it.
That was moi. Guilty as charged biggrin
Except Sun Tzu never said that.

Agreed, which is why I originally said "I have The Art of War and don’t recall this being in it, but sounds about right…"

Unfortunately it could be a further slide down towards a kleptocracy. Whoever pays, gets the goods, but there'll be a quid pro quo, which is you'll have to keep paying and don't ever fund the other side.

trumps latest rant is about Fox News.
"Fox News should let Judge Jeanine cover the Trial, not Eric Shawn, who has no clue what’s going on - Just another RINO,"

Former Trump White House official Sarah Matthews wondering why people still want to work for trump, when he's ruined many peoples lives.
"Multiple people indicted and caught up in these different trials."

That trump sent a violent mob against his last VP...

It's the correct version of TDS. They're utterly deranged...

My theory is that when he upsets the wrong person he will get into big trouble. I genuinely don't wish any physical harm on him and just hope it will mean the end of his political career. Hopefully soon. Life's real "winners" dont need to be held back by people like him.

ABC News noted that several potential vice presidential candidates, including Sens. J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Vivek Ramaswamy, had attended the trial to support trump. Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) was expected to attend later in the week.

Turning up, giving states to the judge and jury, then pushing trumps lies to the waiting reporters. Part of the interview process, prove your loyalty to trump.

The James act requires US registration of ships doing US to US ports. I am not sure how that would impact a non-US ship doing runs from a single port out to a wind farm and back.
Because once a installation is made to the sea bed, it then becomes demarked as a US Port.

Cohens still testifying
Prosecutor Susan Hoffinger asks Cohen if he learned Stormy Daniels was going to go public about her sexual encounter as a result of him saying it was his money, not trumps, and if that's why he got a temporary restraining order against her.

Michael Cohen says that's correct and confirms it was at Trump's direction to work with Larry Rosen, as well as with Eric Trump, to get a restraining order.

No wonder Erics been on the media shows pushing lies for trump - he was all over stopping Daniels telling her story.

Cory Mills turn today to turn up and attack the judge, prosecutors "This is weaponisation against our president", weird I though Biden was Potus.
https://twitter.com/i/status/1790409392044560682

Speaker Johnson as well, pushing trump lies that it's to stop him campaigning, then went on to attack Judge Juan Merchan and Michael Cohen.
https://twitter.com/i/status/1790384604458762522

This is obviously the price Johnson had to pay to get trump to stop people voting on Marge's motion to vacate?
So called christian, antiporn, supporting the man who had multiple affairs, cheating on his wife, one with a porn star

edit: and
Speaker Johnson: I’m working with Jim Jordan and James Comer on measures to rein in the abuses of Jack Smith

Of course you are as you've spent a year with them trying to manufacture dirt on Biden and failing

trump challenged the gag order again today on three grounds, arguing that it was improper for Justice Merchan to:
(1) prohibit Trump from responding to "attacks" by Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels;
(2) limit his ability to make public comments about Matthew Colangelo, a prosecutor in the District Attorney's office
(3) make public statements about Justice Merchan's daughter.

The appellate court unanimously denied all of Trump's arguments.
